The 2024-25 NSAA Boys’ State Basketball Tournament wrapped up over the weekend in Lincoln.
In the Class A finals, Papillion LaVista South defeated Westside, 61-58. Westside, the No. 2 seed, defeated No. 7 Lincoln Southwest and No. 6 Lincoln Southeast to reach the finals. Papillion LaVista South, the No. 1 seed, defeated No. 8 Papillion La Vista and No. 4 Millard North to reach the finals.
In the Class B finals, Omaha Skutt defeated Scottsbluff, 64-49. Scottsbluff, the No. 2 seed, defeated No. 7 Gretna East and No. 6 Elkhorn North to reach the finals. Omaha Skutt, the No. 4 seed, defeated No. 5 Douglas County West and No. 1 Norris to reach the finals.
In the Class C1 finals, Ashland-Greenwood defeated Omaha Concordia, 53-39. Omaha Concordia, the No. 3 seed, defeated No. 6 Sidney and No. 7 Doniphan-Trumbull to reach the finals. Ashland Greenwood, the No. 5 seed, defeated No. 4 Cozad and No. 1 Lincoln Lutheran to reach the finals.
In the Class C2 finals, Archbishop Bergan defeated Cross County, 53-43. Cross County, the No. 3 seed, defeated No. 6 Cedar Catholic and No. 7 West Holt to reach the finals. Archbishop Bergan, the No. 8 seed, defeated No. 1 Freeman and No. 4 Summerland to reach the finals.
In the Class D1 finals, Johnson-Brock defeated Howells-Dodge, 61-46. Howells-Dodge, the No. 2 seed, defeated No. 7 Dundy County Stratton and No. 3 Bancroft-Rosalie to reach the finals. Johnson-Brock, the No. 1 seed, defeated No. 8 Elmwood-Murdock and No. 4 McCool Junction to reach the finals.
In the Class D2 finals, St. Mary’s defeated Wynot, 63-51. Wynot, the No. 3 seed, defeated No. 6 Elgin/Pope John and No. 2 Wausa to reach the finals. St. Mary’s, the No. 1 seed, defeated No. 8 Silver Lake and No. 4 Archangels Catholic to reach the finals.
