The Nebraska City Pioneers wrestling team placed fourth during the “Rumble in River Country” Tournament on Monday, Jan. 14, at the Nebraska City High School.

Reid Stracke, 113, picked up wins over; Dominic Cherek (Platts) Maj 13-2; Drew Hollibaugh (Waverly) Fall 1:52.
At 120, Jorge Loarca, defeated Aidan Davis (Falls City) Fall 2:53.
Josh DeLunger, 132,  picked up four wins over; Will Franzen (Waverly) Fall :18; Brock Beed (Fairbury) Fall :21; Brock Bashus (Platts) Fall 3:22; Jace Heckenlively (Falls City) Fall :52.
At 145, Chris Adams defeated; Nicholas Abbott (Waverly) TF 17-1; Austin Yohe (Hastings) TF 18-3; Zach Nielsen (Platts) TF 16-1.
Chance Sjulin, 152, earned three wins against; Jacob Kaiser (Hastings) Fall 5:59; Caleb Laney (Platts) SV-1 12-8; Leighton Vice (Falls City) Fall 1:20.
Jordan Moyer ended the night by going 5-0, with all wins by pin fall.  Moyer won against; Tanner Baxter (Platts) Fall 1:11; Kyle Black (Falls City) Fall :45; Robbie Wilson (Waverly) Fall 4:55; Jayden Schmidt (Fairbury) Fall :39; Jackson Phelps (Hastings) Fall 5:12.

Zach Benton, 220, picked up a victory over Kazz Hyson (Fairbury) Fall :46.
