The Lourdes girls earned win No. 9 on the season as Libby Baumert went off to score a season high 28 points, in a victory over Hartington Cedar Catholic, 54-44, on Saturday, Jan. 5.
Through their first 11 games, the Lady Knights are off to their best start since the 2013-14 season.
In this contest, Baumert was 4-for-4 behind the arc and shot 60 percent from the field.  Gina McGowen had a nice afternoon with eight points, nine rebounds, and four steals. Brianna Fulton contributed eight points, four steals, and four assists.
Emma Heng would add four points; Macey Allgood, Ivye Meyer, and Elaina Madison, each had two.  Allgood led all Knights with five assists.
The Knights (9-2) will be at home on Friday, January 11, to face Lincoln Lutheran (4-7), starting at 6 p.m.
