The Lourdes Central Knights had it's season come to an end after a 42-6 loss to Wisner-Pilger in the first round of the state playoffs on Thursday, October 25.
Lourdes had a difficult time generating offense, but Andrew Aldana did finish the game with 19 carries for 101 yards, and one touchdown that came in the first quarter.
Colter Fulton led the Knights in tackles with 10 solo and five assisted. Fulton added two sacks and one fumble recovery.
Johnny Heng finished the game with one interception and five tackles.
Andrew Aldana came away with five tackles and Aidan Aldana had four.
During their contest with Weeping Water on Thursday, October 18, the Knights put 70 points on the scoreboard for the 70-22 win.
Andrew Aldana scored four touchdowns on six carries for 151 yards. Aidan Aldana scored two touchdowns, and finished the game with 47 yards rushing. Blake Miller scored the only receiving touchdown on a 19 yard catch.
On the defensive side, Zach Tesarek intercepted a pass and the Knights had three fumble recoveries from; Fulton, Sam Draus, and Damon Honeysuckle.
Christian Watkins returned a 75-yard touchdown on a special teams kick-off.
Overall the Knights gained 377 yards of total offense.
The Knights averaged 241 yards rushing per game, led by Andrew Aldana, who finished the year with 915 yards and 17 touchdowns; Colter Fulton, 534, eight touchdowns; Aidan Aldana, 330, six touchdowns.
Colter Fulton threw for 753 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Blake Miller was the Knights leading receiver. Miller hauled in 12 catches for 257 yards and four touchdowns; Andrew Aldana, 229, four td; Aidan Aldana, 163, one td.
