The Lourdes Knights capped off it’s Friday night with a 23 point win over Tri-County, where Andrew Aldana scored four total touchdowns in the 48-25 victory, on August 31.
Lourdes jumped out to a 22 to 8 halftime lead. In the third quarter, the Knights poured on 26 points and eventually went on to pick up it’s first win on the season.
The Knights averaged eight yards per carry in this match up. Andrew Aldana carried the ball eight times for 105 yards and two touchdowns. Aldana was a threat in the receiving game with two catches for 58 yards and two scores.
Lourdes were effective in the passing game, where Colter Fulton was 6-for-11 for 102 yards and three touchdowns.
As a team, the Knights racked up 206 yards rushing, and 317 yards of total offense.
On the defensive side, the Knights forced four turnovers, and held the Trojans to 11 yards passing, and 230 yards of total offense.
Rushing: Blake Miller, two carries, one touchdown; Aidan Aldana, two carries, 14 yards, one touchdown.
Receiving: Johnny Heng; one catch, 34 yards, one touchdown.
Aidan Aldana contributed 13 tackles for the Knights.
Defense: Damon Honeysuckle, Johnny Heng, Colter Fulton, seven tackles each; Will Funke, six; Andrew Aldana, five tackles, one interception.
Lourdes will be on the road on Friday, Sept. 7, to face EMF (Exeter-Milligan/Friend). Kick off will be at 7 p.m.
