Nebraska City Post 8 Seniors trailed 5-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth where NC battled back with an eight run inning to take the lead, as Trent Fahey hit a two-run HR, but unfortunately NC lost 9-8 on Wednesday, June 13, at Nebraska City.

Down 5-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth, NC had tallied three hits.  Trent Fahey led off the sixth with a walk.  Alex Breazile singled on a line-drive to right field and Jace Becker was hit by a pitch to load the bases.  Max Chaney nailed an RBI single to center field to get NC on the scoreboard.  Bryce Levy singled followed by a bunt single by Tyler Levy.  Nebraska City trailed 5-4 when Dylan Knoell hit a RBI single to left field to tie things up.  Clay Stovall hit a fly ball sacrifice to right field that scored Tyler Levy.  Fahey stepped to the plate, and with two outs, blasted a two-run HR and NC went into the seventh inning with an 8-5 lead.

Wahoo fought it’s way back to tie the game at 8-8.  With one out and a runner on third,  Oden hit a ground ball out to Stovall as Ickler scored from third to take a one run lead.  

Nebraska City had runners on first and second with two outs, in the bottom of the seventh, but couldn’t push any runs across.
