Alex Breazile was 2 for-4, with two doubles, and four RBI, in Nebraska City's Post 8 Legion Seniors 13-12 victory against Plattsmouth on Thursday, June 7, at Plattsmouth.

Nebraska City has now won four of it’s last five games.  In this contest there were several different lead changes, but in the top of the seventh inning, and the game tied, Breazile was hit by the pitch with bases loaded, and NC went on to win.

It was a wild first inning, as both teams combined for 11 runs.
Clay Stovall singled in the top of the first inning, and Trent Fahey walked.  Breazile hit a double to knock in both runs and go up 3-0.  Becker singled to score Breazile and would later score on a passed ball to give NC a 5-0 advantage.

Plattsmouth scored six runs on two hits in the bottom half of the first.
Knoell singled in the second and Stovall reached on an error.  Trent Fahey smacked a hard single to left to score both runners and regain the lead, 7-6.

With the score tied 9-9 in the top of the fifth, Ethan Seyler singled and advanced to third base on a throwing error.  Knoell hit a solid RBI single to left field to break up the tie and go up 10-9.  Garrett Bassinger nailed a double that scored two runs and heading into the sixth, NC had a three run lead.

Plattsmouth had one more at bat in the seventh inning.  With two outs and runners on second first, Becker struck out the final hitter.

Jace Becker got the win for NC.  Becker threw one inning and recorded two walks, two strikeouts, and no runs.
Bryce Levy started on the mound for NC.  Levy allowed six earned runs on four hits, five walks, three strikeouts, in three innings.  Breazile tossed three innings and allowed three earned runs on three hits, two runs, and one strikeout.

NC scored 13 runs, on 12 hits, and committed two errors.
Plattsmouth scored 12 runs, on seven hits, and three errors.

Brayden Betts went 2-for-4 with a single, double, four RBI, and three runs scored in the Post 8 Junior win.
