The Nebraska City girls track and field unit placed 4th at the Platteview High School Invite where Chloe Schaulis and Gretchen Sornson won their individual events in exciting fashion on Thursday, April, 19.

Freshman, Chloe Schaulis finished strong down the stretch by defeating Madison Nash by two tenths of a second.  Schaulis won with a time of 5:47.35 in the 1600 meter run.

Gretchen Sornson won by two tenths of a second in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.45.  Sornson beat out Taylor Wakefield of Arlington who had a finish time of 16.47.
