With great sadness we must announce the passing of Rosalie “Lee” Roesch of McFall, MO. It is heartbreaking that after a long life of being such an eclectic and passionate woman that the curse of cancer ended her story on January 24th, 2023. In her 81 years of life, she touched many people’s lives with her love, kindness and sound advice. She enjoyed many hobbies which she excelled at such as quilting, antiquing, gardening, floral arranging, home restoration, and an additional long list of interests that made her such an inspiration to her friends and family.
She retired in the 1980s after many years as a sheriff of Los Angeles and as a guard at a California women’s prison. She once owned an antique shop in Buckley, WA and designed a store front window for a Nebraska City florist.
She is survived by her son John Finnagan of California, Sister Vicki Larson of Nebraska, sister Linda Allison of Nebraska, and brother David Roesch of Washington State. Her grandchildren, nieces and nephews are also mourning her death, along with her closest friend of many years Loretta Register.
She is preceded in death by her parents Fred Roesch, Mabel Roesch (Komma) and stepfather Karl Komma; her sons Eddie Finnagan and Stephen Finnagan; brother Fred Roesch, brother Jerry Roesch, and sister Ann Pickett.
Rosalie will be cremated to have her ashes dispersed at a few of her favorite beautiful places. Her memorial service will be on Feb 12th at the Kingdom Hall, 909 Taylor St, Bethany, MO 64424. By giving a donation to your favorite organization it would be a wonderful tribute in memory of her giving nature.
She dedicated her life to Jehovah and did her best to do His will with all her heart. Her trust in the sacrifice of Jesus gave her confidence that she will see all who she loved again…
