The Rodeo Committee announced 22 vendors signed up for rodeo week! The Sidney Iowa Championship Rodeo kicked off Tuesday, July 29, and the final night for 2025 is Saturday Evening, Aug. 2!

The Kids carnival will be set up in the city park by the rodeo grounds.

Rodeo Days in downtown Sidney is ready for a fun day for all ages on Saturday, Aug 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event features vendors, a free will pancake feed, bounce houses, a dunk tank, foam machine, a cornhole tournament, a 5K run and live entertainment by the Dancing Bear on the northeast side of the square. The parade committee has also been working hard and have a lineup for you to enjoy. The parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Be sure to stop and patronize Sidney’s great businesses whose sponsorship makes the rodeo successful!
