Linda Lou Ried, age 79 of Bellevue, formerly of Union died May 10, 2021 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Linda was born May 1, 1942 in Nehawka, the daughter of Harold and Margaret (Crawford) Kearney.
She married LeRoy Ried January 29, 1960 in Rock Port, MO. Linda formerly worked at Pendleton’s and Walmart and had lived in Bellevue since 1970.
Linda loved spending time shopping for her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, LeRoy “Roy” Ried; son, Larry Ried, and daughter, Lesha (Todd) Wilson, all of Bellevue; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; brother, Harley (Diane) Kearney of Sioux City, IA; sisters, Cherie (Brent) Talbot of Layton, UT, and Peggy (Don) Hobscheidt of Syracuse; many other relatives and friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; son, LeRoy “Dusty” Ried and brother, Rick Kearney.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, May 14, 2021 at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City with burial in East Union Cemetery near Union.
Visitations will be 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Marshall Funeral Chapel with the family greeting friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
Social distancing and face masks are encouraged at both events.
