Richard Henry Eacret, age 63, of Nebraska City died Nov. 12, 2019, at his home.  
He was born Oct. 1, 1956, in Nebraska City, the son of Harry Richard and Gladys Irene (Comer) Eacret.  
Rich lived in Nebraska City his entire life and had worked for the Otoe County Department of Roads for 42 years.  
He married Debra House April 16, 1982.  Debra died Oct. 24, 2010.  
He was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church and Eagles Aerie No. 968, both in Nebraska City.  Rich loved spending time with his family and regularly attended ball games and family activities.  
He had a love for animals and race cars.
Survivors include his daughter, Richelle Santana and husband Sean of Nebraska City; granddaughter, Emma Santana; brother, Joe Eacret of Nebraska City; sisters, Rose Eggert and husband Fred of Blairstown, Mo., Linda Cozette of Bellevue; mother in law, Luella House and sister in law, Diane Hoyle and husband Dale all of Nebraska City; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.  
Funeral services were to be 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nebraska City with burial in Wyuka Cemetery.  The casket was to remain closed.
Visitations were be 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City with the family greeting friends from 5 to 7 p.m.
