Sandra Lee (Scudder) Hayworth, age 72 of Omaha, formerly of Nehawka and Nebraska City died Oct. 19, 2019, at her home.  Sandy was born on Sept. 9, 1947, in Nebraska City, the daughter of George and Nora (Siemers) Peoples.
She had worked for several years as a secretary for the Otoe County Sheriff’s Office and had moved to Omaha in 1990.  
Sandy was a member of the O.J.R. Legal Secretaries Association and the Life Church in Omaha.  She volunteered at the Millard Public Library and for an organ donor networking group.  
She was preceded in death by her mother,
Nora Peoples; husband, Frank Heyworth; brother, Terry Peoples; and sister, Nanette Manderfeld.
 Survivors include her daughter, Marlo Dancer and husband Anthony; son, Lance Scudder, both of Omaha; sisters, Lavona Hall of California; Bonnie McCarthy of Omaha and Nadene Cummings of Texas; grandchildren, Mikaela Vera, Anna Dancer, Tiana Dancer, Tanaya Dancer and Treyvon Dancer.  
There will be no visitations or viewing. Private family services will take place at the First Lutheran (North Branch) Cemetery near Avoca.
Memorials are suggested to H.E.L.P., an organization to assist hospice patients, created through hospice.
