Jeannie Sharon Brown, age 80 of Firth, formerly of Nehawka and Plattsmouth died April 25, 2019, at the Lakeview Assisted Living in Firth.  Jeannie was born November 21, 1938 in St. Joseph, Mo., the daughter of Lorenzo Dow and Frances Grace (Vandover) Payne.  She married Roy Matthew Brown July 20, 1957, in Omaha.  
Jeannie was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family, making hats and volunteering for various agencies to help those who are less fortunate.
Survivors include her husband, Roy of Firth; children, Roy Van Vleck of Texas; Terry Brown and wife Mary of Raymond; Cathy Cole and husband Steve of Plattsmouth; Sheryl Shockey and husband Tom of Lincoln and Jonathan Brown and wife Millina of Lincoln; grandchildren, Zac, Troy and wife Ashley, Megan, Jamie and husband Nick, Sarah and husband Jake, Eric, Lucas and wife Kambry and Logan; great grandchildren, Cole, Freya, Kyler, Tenley and Emersyn; sisters in law, Liz Payne of Omaha and Margie Brown of Lincoln; many nieces and nephews.  Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents; daughter in law, Gloria; brothers, L. D. Payne, Bob Payne and his wife Wilma and Dick Payne.  
There will be no viewing or visitations.
A Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at the Belmont Baptist Church in Lincoln.  
Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.
