Linda Kay Clark, age 69, of Nebraska City passed away on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019, at St. Elizabeth’s Regional Medical Center in Lincoln.
Linda was born on Jan. 9, 1950, in Nebraska City; the daughter of Nelson Riley and Della Lea (King) Murphy.  
She grew up and attended school in Nebraska City.
On June 12, 1987, Linda was united in marriage to John Edward Clark at the Presbyterian Church in Nebraska City.  
She worked at Duff’s Friendship Villa for 37 years primarily in housekeeping and retired when Duff’s closed.  
She was a member of the Nebraska City Church of Christ.
 She is survived by her husband, John Clark of Nebraska City; children:  Laura Ehlers (Dennis), Lisa McClanahan (fiance Jeff Yost), Lee Kennell (fiance Tonya Swaink), Larry Kennell (Venice), Lynette Earl (fiance Richard Koch) all of Nebraska City; step-children:  John A. Clark (fiance Ellie) of Avoca, Jessie Clark (Tanya) of Weeping Water and step-son Joseph Clark (sig. other Sabrina Willuweit) of rural Union; 10 grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren; siblings:  Nelson O. “Tom” Murphy (Cora) of Essex, Iowa, Roy Murphy (Nancy) of Buhl, Idaho, John P. “Ap” Murphy (Joyce) of Nebraska City, John (Bo Murphy) Steedly of Sidney, Iowa, Cindy Weible (Burt) of Nebraska City and Brenda Rogman (Randy) of Nebraska City ; uncles:  Ben Murphy of Texas and Raymond King of Nebraska City; other family and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and an aunt Trudy Jordan.
Funeral Services were to be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5, at Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City with Pastors John Telgren and Terry Duffy officiating.
The family was to greet friends on Monday (March 4) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
Memorials may be given to the Nebraska City Church of Christ or the American Cancer Society.
