Margarete (Findley) Brammer, age 89 of Tabor, formerly of Hamburg,  passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, at the Tabor Manor Care Center,  Tabor.
Margarete was born on May 6, 1928 in Braunschweig, Germany; the daughter of Adolf and Martha (Schuman) Mibaum.  
She was married to Jim Findley in 1954.  He preceded her in death in 1992.  
In 2005, she was united in marriage to Tom Brammer in Glenwood.
Margarete was a housewife and homemaker and a member of the Glenwood Community Church.  She was a wonderful cook.
Margarete is survived by her husband Tom Brammer of Glenwood; children:  Anna Maria Findley of Manhattan, Kan., and Kevin Scott Findley and wife Alice of Cleveland, Ohio; step-children:  Tommy Brammer and wife Delma of Glenwood; Joyce Maxwell and husband Bob of Glenwood; Janet Gleason and husband Darold of Glenwood; Roy Brammer and wife Sharon of Paducah, Ky.; Loretta Garsow and husband Mike of Glenwood; three grandchildren; thirteen step-grandchildren and numerous step great-grandchildren; other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, two brothers and two step-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held on Friday, Dec. 15, at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home in Hamburg, with Pastor Mark Smeltzer officiating.  
Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery at a later date.
The family greeted friends from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday (12/14) at the Rash-Gude Funeral Home.
