Brian G. “Buffy” Dalton, age 53 of Murrayville, Ga.; formerly of Hamburg,  passed away on Sunday,  Aug. 7, 2016 in Murrayville.  He was the son of Robert D. Dalton and the late Emy Dalton.
He was born on May 28, 1963 in Nebraska City, the son of Robert Dale and Mary Eleanor (Ash) Dalton.  
He attended school in Hamburg and graduated with the Hamburg High School Class of 1981.  
Following high school, he attended and graduated from the Job Corps School in Denison.
Brian worked at the American Meter Company in Nebraska City and later began his career at Walmart.   
He was Manager of the Garden Center for Wal-Mart until his health declined.  
He was an avid Nebraska Husker Fan.
He is survived by his father Robert Dalton and wife Nancy of Hamburg; a brother Brad Dalton and wife Jenny of Council Bluffs; a sister Vicki Loggins and husband Joel of Murrayville, Ga.; brother Jack Dankof of Omaha, Neb.; numerous nieces and nephews, other family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Eleanor “Emy” as well as his grandparents.
Funeral Services were to be held Saturday (8/13) at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hamburg, with Fr. Vern Smith celebrating the Mass.  
Burial was to follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery southeast of Hamburg.  
In his honor, the family requests Husker apparel be worn to his services.
 The family was to greet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Rash-Gude Funeral Home in Hamburg.
