Pamela S. “Pam” Frede, age 51 of Gretna,  (formerly Nebraska City) passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha.
Pamela was born on November 15, 1964 in Nebraska City; the daughter of Herbert Francis and Rosa Pauline (Glockel) Frede.
Pamela worked for Region V Services in Nebraska City for many years and she also helped with the Lourdes Central Catholic Hot Lunch Program for some 21 years.  
She was a member of St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Nebraska City.  Pam and her mom Rosa moved from Nebraska City in 2007.
Those left to cherish her memory include her siblings:  Annette Twiford and significant other Ray of Bellevue; Leo Frede and wife Betty of rural Sidney, Iowa; Betty Plumer and husband Steve of Lenexa, Kan.; Barbara Kinsella and husband Dan of Omaha,  and Leonard Frede of Lincoln; numerous nieces, nephews; other family and many friends.
Pam was preceded in death by father Herbert Frede on Dec. 24, 1983; mother Rosa Frede on Dec. 11, 2011 and a brother Leslie Frede in 1961.
A Funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Nebraska City with Fr. Mark Cyza officiating.  
Burial was to follow the services at St. Benedict’s Cemetery.
The casket will remain closed at the request of the family.
Memorials may be directed to the Special Olympics, in lieu of flowers.
