The Hungry Soul Soup House will begin its eighth year of providing a free soup supper on November 1st. We will serve every Friday from 4:30 pm to 7pm until mid-March. This is completely free to enjoy. Every Friday we serve two different, homemade soups with bread and desserts, as well as coffee, tea and lemonade.
This is for anyone that could be blessed by having a meal they don't have to pay for, fix, or clean up after. Whether your cash flow is a little tight that week or you've worked hard all week and don't feel like cooking and you can't afford to take the family out, we are here for you. Come once or every week.
The Friday after Thanksgiving we will be serving a full Thanksgiving meal instead of our usual soup. If your family isn't near by or you really like turkey, this meal is for you. It is free as well. We would love to have you spend the holiday with us!
Again, we serve every Friday from 4:30 to 7 from Nov. 1st to mid-March. We are located in the big, red, metal building behind the Baptist Church at 7th Street and 2nd Corso.
This is a free event for those who attend, it is funded by community donations of funds and supplies. Please contact Angie on the Hungry Soul Soup House Facebook page if you would like to partner with us in this ongoing event or would just like more information.
