The Peru State Bobcat cheerleading squad held a youth cheer camp on Saturday, Sept. 14. A performance by all of the participants was held prior to the Bobcats' football game that afternoon with Benedictine (Kan.).
The camp was for all youth four years and older. The 38 participants came from all over southeast Nebraska with one future Bobcat cheerleader coming all the way from Seward. The camp was one of the largest ever for the Peru State cheer team.
Coach Brooke Earnest and her cheerleaders provided several hours of instruction which included both cheers and a dance routine.
