During the month of June, 2019, twenty-two persons were killed in traffic crashes on Nebraska roadways, according to data collected by the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
These 22 fatalities occurred in 18 crashes.
Six of the 20 vehicle occupants killed were not wearing safety belts.
There was one fatality on the interstate, eleven fatalities on other highways, and ten fatalities on local roads.
Seventeen of the fatalities were in rural locations.
Four of the fatalities were motorcyclists.
Two of the fatalities were pedestrians.
