Nebraska City churches have released their Holy Week service schedules.

Bethel United Church of Christ, 2400 Central Ave., will hold Palm Sunday service at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 14.

Bethel will host a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. April 18. Pastor Keith Valenzuela will preach at the ecumenical Good Friday service at noon April 19 at First Presbyterian Church, 1005 1st Corso. Bethel will host a Good Friday service at 6 p.m. April 19.

Easter services at Bethel will begin at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, April 21, with an outdoor service followed by breakfast in the Fellowship Hall. Freewill offerings will be accepted.

First Baptist Church, 302 S. 7th, will hold a breakfast honoring Nebraska City first responders at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, April 14. Breakfast will be followed by Palm Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m.

First Baptist will have Communion at 8 a.m. Easter Sunday (April 21), followed by a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. Sunday School will follow at 9:15 a.m., and an Easter worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m.

First Lutheran Church, 315 S. 16th St., will host a worship service with communion at 10:30 a.m. Palm Sunday (April 14). First Lutheran will also host a Maundy Thursday communion worship service at 7 p.m. April 18, and a Good Friday Tenebrae service at 7 p.m. April 19.

Easter sunrise service with communion will be celebrated at First Lutheran at 7 a.m. Easter Sunday (April 21). First Presbyterian Church, 1005 1st Corso, will host a Good Friday Prayer Vigil from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 19. First Presbyterian will also host an ecumenical service at noon April 19 for the community.

Easter services at First United Methodist start with a 6:15 a.m. sunrise service in Gage Hall. Easter breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m., followed by a worship service at 10 a.m.
