The Nebraska City City Council will take on a varied agenda at its meeting Monday night, Jan. 21.

Agenda items include an update on the Nebraska City Trail Study; the approval of an agreement to form a brownfields assessment coalition partnership; discussion on terms and the selection of a lender for a loan to pay for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning project at the Morton-James Public Library; and purchases of a lawn mower for the Parks and Rec Department and a bucket truck for the Board of Public Works.

Consent agenda items include additional purchases for the Board of Public Works, including a mini excavator, an infrared camera, a Ford F250 truck, and a Ford F450 truck.

Other consent items are electric work orders for a new home at H Road and North 54th, the Sports Complex, and the Palmyra City Park concession building.

The meeting is set to start at 6 p.m. in the Bill Davis Room of City Hall, 1409 Central Ave.
