The Nebraska City Police Department is asking the public’s help in solving several crimes.
Thurman’s Bike and Sport, located at 11th Street and 2nd Corso, has had numerous windows shot and damaged with either a pellet gun or BB gun.
This vandalism has caused the owner a great expense to replace the broken and damaged windows.
The Nebraska City Crime Stoppers board and the business owner have agreed to combine their rewards for information leading to the arrest of the responsible party or parties in this property damage.
The NCPD has also taken a report of copper pipes  taken from the old St. Mary’s Hospital, located at 13th Street and 3rd Avenue.
Recently, it was discovered that copper pipes have also been taken from the old Duff’s Friendship Villa, located at 12th Street and 3rd Avenue.
The NCPD has also take several theft reports of TVs and other electronic items being taken from camper and motorhomes. These thefts have occurred mostly in the south and east parts of town.
Several cars have been broken into and had personal items taken. This seems to be an ongoing problem.
A space heater was reported stolen from the Senior Patio Homes development north of CHI Health St. Mary’s.

If the information provided results in the arrest of the responsible parties or the recovery of stolen property, a cash reward will be given.
