The Nebraska City Public Schools School Board will meet tonight at 6 at 215 N. 12th St.
NCPS School Board members will discuss and-or approve the following agenda items:
Board policy 902.06 regarding design-build school contraction alternative,
The construction of a gaga ball pit at the Nebraska City Middle School for an Eagle Scout project,
The hiring of Bethany Brindley of Peru and Leah Wehenkel of Auburn,
Accepting NCMS Family Consumer Science teacher Michaela Vestecka’s resignation on the condition of finding and hiring a qualified replacement,
Hiring of Design Build procedure as a performance criteria developer,
The Nebraska City High School Chromebook handbook,
The 2016-2017 handbook changes,
The 2016-2017 NCHS handbook,
The 2016-2017 NCMS handbook,
The 2016-2017 elementary schools handbooks,
Revising board policy 406.08 regarding employee evaluations and approval of the new improvement of instruction model,
Hiring KSB School Law of Lincoln to lead the board through a revision of the district’s board policy manual,
The 2016-2017 athletic budget,
Extend the busing contract with Mid States School Bus Inc. for the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years,
Approval of Brenda Wieckhorst to serve as the treasurer for the district,
And add Wieckhorst to bank signature cards and remove former treasurer Jodi Rathe’s name.
