UNION – Loreen Joan Haupt, age 87 of Union died November 21, 2021 at CHI St. Mary’s Hospital in Nebraska City. She was born December 15, 1933 to Albert & Mollie (Sieber) Weber at their family farm home near Ohiowa, NE. Loreen worked at Ocoma Foods and Pendleton Woolen Mills and was active in the community. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marcella and husband, Frank Bulin; two stepfathers, Bill Rickels and Art Peter; grandson, Albert Haupt Jr., and son in law, Barry Kastens. Survivors include her husband, Jack Haupt; sons, Albert (Brenda) Haupt Sr, Carl (Debra) Haupt, John (Beth) Haupt; daughter, Vicki Kastens; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Friday, December 3, 2021 at Bethel Church in Nebraska City with burial in Cowles Hill Cemetery near Nebraska City.

Visitations will be 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City with the family greeting friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
