Kenneth D. Knickman, age 89 of Nebraska City passed away on Saturday; December 18, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Nebraska City.

He was born on May 12, 1932 in Otoe, NE; the son of William D. and Lena (Hillman) Knickman.

He entered the US Army during the Korean War on Dec. 2, 1952 and was honorably discharged on Dec. 2, 1954 as a Sergeant. 

He is survived by his wife Carol Knickman of Nebr. City; daughter Danette Greenfield (Bruce) of Huxley, IA, son Scott Knickman of Sikeston, MO, grandchildren:  Matt Knickman (Candice) of Cleveland, OH, Megan Stegall (Jason) of St. Louis, MO, Alex Greenfield (Kim) of Kamrar, IA and Dan Greenfield of Cleveland, OH;  9 great grandchildren; step children Rex Peterson and Renee Peterson both of Nebr. City; step-grandchildren:  Josh Peterson (Samantha) and Rex Peterson II both of Nebr. City; brother Bill Knickman (Jan) of Nebr. City; other family and friends.

Services will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be given to Shriners Children’s Hospital or the donor’s favorite charity.
