Judy Amanda Albrecht

Judy Amanda Albrecht, age 82 of Lincoln (formerly of Nebraska City) died December 20, 2021 at Legacy Terrace in Lincoln. Judy was born October 24, 1939 in Tabor, IA, the daughter of Clarence and Neva (Grosse) Sigler and lived there until she was 10 years old. She lived in Nebraska City until 4 years ago when she moved to Lincoln. Judy married John Albrecht June 15, 1958 in Nebraska City and worked at Sears and St. Mary’s Hospital before her retirement. Judy was a member of the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Eagles Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary. She loved working around the home and spending time with her grandchildren. Her dog, Sadie was very special to her.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy (Tim) Smith of Waverly; son, Marty (Niki) Albrecht of Blair; grandchildren, Justin Albrecht, Josh Smith, Brianna Albrecht, Holly Smith, and Neva Albrecht; great grandchildren, Riley White, Dayvie White, Oakleigh Smith, Jacob Albrecht, Kolby Albrecht, Brooklynn Smith and Paisley Langfeldt; brothers, Verle Sigler of Lamar, CO and Steve Frede of Lincoln; sister, Donetta Noerrlinger of Lincoln; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and granddaughter, Amanda Albrecht.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 27, 2021 at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City with burial in Wyuka Cemetery.

Visitations will be 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Marshall Funeral Chapel with the family greeting friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society directed toward Breast Cancer.
