George Thomas Holdsworth, 93 of Lincoln, formerly of Bennet, passed away on September 30, 2022. He was born on August 19, 1929 near Bennet, NE to Mamie and Zephaniah Holdsworth. He always worked hard and long at REA work, grain elevator, truck driver, semi driver and lawn services.

He married Della (Halm) in November of 1947. Survivors are daughter Kathy Gress of Lincoln; daughter-in-law Cathy Holdsworth of Bennet; 12 grandkids; 24 great grandkids; 12 great great grandkids; sister Betty Chapman of Milford; sisters-inlaw Faye of Bennet, Lucille of Douglas and Nora Mae of Fairfield, CA.

Preceded in death by his mother Mamie and father Zip, wife Della, sons Richard & Bruce, daughter Connie, granddaughter Tasha LeGrande, grandson Aaron Holdsworth, brothers Harry, Ralph, Charles, Frank and infant brother Francis, nieces Donna Holdsworth, Carol Babcock, Sally Fricke, nephews Joseph & Larry Holdsworth.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Park Hill Cemetery in Syracuse. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Bennet Community Church with the service livestreamed on the Bennet Community Church Facebook page. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
