Lourdes Central Catholic in Nebraska City is excited to welcome four new faculty and staff members for the 2025-26 school year.
Mrs. Jessica Athen will serve as the high school history teacher at Lourdes.
Anthen has 16 years of teaching experience. She previously served as a guidance counselor for eight years at Sidney Jr./Sr. High School in Sidney, Iowa.
Mr. John McAndrews will serve as the middle school and high school principal.
McAndrews has 12 years of experience as a principal at the elementary, middle school, and high school levels which include both the public and Catholic school setting.
Previously, he was an elementary principal at Gladstone School District in Oregon and also has served as principal of Guardian Angel Central Catholic School in West Point.
Mrs. Caroline Partsch will serve as the elementary music/computers/middle school band teacher for Lourdes.
Partsch previously taught K-8 music at a Catholic school in Omaha. She is currently working toward earning her master’s in music education from the University of Nebraska – Omaha.
Mrs. Kaylee Braunsroth (Lourdes alumni, Class of 2015), has been hired as the fourth-grade teacher and will follow this class to fifth grade in 2026-27.
Braunsroth joins Lourdes after several years of teaching at St. John’s Catholic School in Lincoln.
