Emiko Page, age 79 of Union died February 21, 2022 at the Bellevue Medical Center in Bellevue. Emiko was born April 25, 1942 in Japan and married Geoffrey B. Page May 7, 1970 in Tokyo, Japan. She lived in Japan and Washington, D.C. before moving to Union 41 years ago and she became a United States Citizen in 2004. Emiko had a child day care service in her home and cared for many children in the Union area. She loved collecting Precious Moments figurines, cooking, gardening, flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Robert (Holly) Page of Bellevue and Richard (Lona) Page of Ft. Wayne, IN; daughter, Kimberley (Ryan) Abell of Union; grandchildren, Alexis Page, Carter Page, Kamdyn Abell, Kelson Abell and Mila Abell; brothers in law, Steve (Rebecca) Page of Washington, D.C.; sisters in law, Sue (Jerry) Gonzales of Raleigh, NC and Genie Martinez of Magna, UT; many other relatives and friends in Japan and the United States. Emiko was preceded in death by her husband January 12, 2005.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 28, 2022 at Marshall Funeral Chapel in Nebraska City with burial to follow in East Union Cemetery near Union.
Visitations will be 1:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Marshall Funeral Chapel with the family greeting friends from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M.
