Peru State College will be hosting its annual Hall of Fame Weekend on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 21 and 22. A reception, followed by a banquet, will begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday evening at the College’s Student Center. The Nebraska City volleyball team played in a match at Platteview on Sept. 27 falling by scores of 2521, 25-13 and 25-14.

Three Nebraska City golfers finished in the top 10 and qualified as individuals for the state golf meet, which will take place on Monday and Tuesday at Monument Shadows Golf Course in Gering. Ella Welsh finished third in the Class B-1 district field with an 86 for her 18 holes on the Table Creek Golf Course at Nebraska City on Monday, Oct.
