PSC Cross Country Teams Compete at Platte River On Friday October 14, the Men’s and Women’s cross-country teams competed in the Platte River Rumble hosted by Creighton University in Ashland. The women finished in 10th place with a total time of 2:20:11.81 and average pace of 28:02.36.
The Peru State volleyball team on Friday, October 14, and Saturday, October 15, dropped matches to Mount Mercy and Clarke on the road they lost each match in three sets. The Bobcats are now 6-18 overall and 3-11 in Heart of America Athletic Conference play.

Nebraska City tennis has a new career wins leader. Connor Causgrove, a four-year tennis participant at Nebraska City High School, recently wrapped up his Pioneer career by recording a sixth-place state medal during action at the NSAA State Tennis Championships and, in doing so, set the career wins mark for the Pioneer program at 85 for combined singles and doubles decisions.
Nolan Beccard threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as the Knight football team picked up a shut-out win against its rival from Falls City Sacred Heart on Thursday, Oct. 13.
Two runners from Nebraska City represented the Pioneer cross country program at the Nebraska State Cross Country Championships at Kearney today. The runners qualified for state by running at the district meet, which was hosted by Elkhorn Mount Michael.

Members of the Nebraska City girls golf team represented the Pioneers at the two-day state golf championships in Gering at Monument Shadows Golf Course. Isabelle Johnson was the top finisher for the Pioneers. She shot 97990 for a 24th place 187. Ella Welsh shot 94-96 for a 26th place 190 and Grace McNeely shot 98102 for a 33rd place 200.
