
Nebraska City boys’ team picked up win, girls’ team fell to Tigers
The Nebraska City boys’ basketball team picked up a 79-44 win at Falls City public school on Tuesdsay night. After taking a one-point lead into the section quarter, the PIoneers scored 46 in the second and third quarters combined. Scoring for the Pioneers were Bradon Thompson, 23; Nyuon Thuokok, 22; Chase Brown, 13; Connor Causgrove, seven; Jayden Borns, four; Bradon Thorton, four; Chris Blum, two; Lucas Nielsen, two; and Kalan Fritch, two. Also in action on Tuesday was the Nebraska City gilrs’ team, which fell to the Tigers, 41-7.
