Modern cars are technological marvels, and it turns out drivers may value tech over all else, including their choice of automaker. A study from Autotrader asked 1,000 participants an assortment of questions about technology and car buying. Roughly 60 percent of millennial car shoppers and more than 40 percent of baby boomers indicated they would switch vehicle brands just to get the technology features they want. Drivers are even willing to pay extra for their preferred tech. The Autotrader study found that the average shopper would pay an extra $2,276 to get the right tech features.

As tensions rise as a result of Russia’s occupation of Ukraine and China’s military exercises in the waters and airspace around Taiwan, our very own homeland security is at risk of being overlooked. Alarming data from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) reveal CBP encountered a record 239,416 individuals attempting to enter our country illegally at our southern border during the month of May – an increase of 32 percent over CBP encounters in May 2021 and a staggering 930 percent over 2020.

Funhouse Mirrors

Romans 9:33 As it is written: "See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame." A restaurant I was eating at had a funhouse mirror that made me look like one of the creatures in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. When I sat down with my cheeseburger, all I could think of was, “Man, that mirror made me look chunky.” If I ask you how you see yourself, what would the answer be? Many are robbed of their peace, joy, and happiness, simply because they do not see themselves the way God does.
