Members of the Nebraska City High School speech team competed at the Millard North speech meet on Jan. 8. Isabelle Bare qualified for the honors finals at the meet and placed 2nd in her finals, or 8th overall, for the meet. Bare was the only medalist this week, and this meet contained a majority of Class A schools along with some out-of-state competition from South Dakota and Iowa. The team was scheduled to compete at the Raymond Central speech meet this week.
