Flags for NC Eagles Club

Representatives from the Nebraska City American Legion Post 8 and the Nebraska City Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2634, both of which meet currently at the Nebraska City Eagles Club, have presented new flags for the club to use on the poles outside their building at 600 1st Corso. Pictured from left are Carl Christensen, American Legion commander; Tracy Frey, Eagles president; Gary Hobbie, VFW adjutant/quartermaster and American Legion senior vice commander; and Roger L. Kopf, VFW senior vice commander. Kopf suggested replacing the flags to both veterans' organizations and both organizations agreed to the flag presentation as a gesture of appreciation to the Eagles for allowing use of their building.
