The Nebraska State Patrol completed a three-day search operation as part of the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Linda Dillard on March 27. Although the search effort did not locate Dillard’s remains, significant ground was covered that will assist in the investigation.
Arbor Day Farm’s improved Apple House Market and adjoining Porter’s barbecue restaurant opened its doors to the public after a fire caused major damage in September 2020. The Nebraska City firefighters contained the fire to the northeast corner of the building, saving the apple sorting area and surrounding properties.
Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested a Gering man following an investigation into firearms stolen from the Minatare Police Department. On Tuesday, March 22, investigators arrested Bryan Martinez, 32, at his residence in Gering.
