First Christian Church at 114 N. 8th St., will be hosting its open door dinner from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on April 12. The menu for the open door dinner is sloppy joes, potato chips, cole slaw and Jello cake. The meal is free and open to all.
Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce Inc. has announced "How Should We Spend the ARPA Funds Given to Nebraska City?" as the topic for the April Hot Topics discussion, which will take place tomorrow (April 13) at 8 a.m.
Reservoir inflows in the Missouri River basin above Sioux City, Iowa, were wellbelow average in March. The March runoff of 1.5 million acre-feet was 48% of average for the month. The updated 2022 upper Basin runoff forecast is 17.8 MAF, 69% of average, approximately 2.6 MAF less than the March 1 forecast.
Tabitha is about to construct a first-of-its-kind intergenerational housing complex in Lincoln—a concept the organization hopes will someday be copied around the country.
