The local Voiture of the 40 and 8 has awarded a financial grant to Jillian Briley of Nebraska City to be used toward her training to become a registered nurse.In addition to the grant, Briley received two commemorative pins from the 40 and 8: The first is a 2024 Nurse’s Training Pin, which depicts a wounded World War I Doughboy sitting down with his service rifle and a nurse standing behind him and offering comfort.
