Roger Kopf, secretary for the local Voiture 10/15 of the 40 & 8, recently received two awards from Virgil Blum, State Chef de Gare.The awards were for: Best Voiture Locale Correspondent of the Year, and The George Boland Award for being the Voiture Locale with the best Nurses Training Program.The awards were presented at the regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 29.The 40 & 8 has as one of its major endeavors to help people who are studying to become registered nurses, or higher.
