NCPD K9 Officer Donation
Representatives of Western Star Lodge No. 2 A.F. & A.M. recently donated $1,700 to the Nebraska City Police Department as part of the department’s fund-raising efforts to add a second K9 officer to the force. Stenka said an anonymous donor has offered $25,000 toward the new dog if the department matches that amount in its fund-raising. Stenka said the donations are very close to the matching fund mark and he is eager to have the new dog on the force.
