Arbor Day runners and walkers enjoyed a 5K event originating from the Lied Conference Center and traveling through Arbor Lodge State Park on Saturday, April 26, Nebraska City.
The Lourdes track teams competed at the Lewiston Invite on Tuesday, April 15, with the girls’ team scoring 44 points for a sixth-place finish in a 10-team field. The Knight boys’ team posted 22 team points.

Isaiah Aldana and Isabelle Johnson were crowned Prom King and Prom Queen at Nebraska City High School on Saturday, April 12. Following a dance at the high school, about 100 students traveled to Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park in Lincoln for after-prom. Nebraska City is gearing up for its annual Arbor Day Celebration starting today (Friday, April 25), with events continuing throughout the weekend.
The Nebraska City track and field teams competed at the Scott Nisely Invite on Thursday, April 17.
The Nebraska City tennis team competed in dual meets on the road on April 14 at Elkhorn at home on April 17 against Lincoln Christian.
