100 Years of Rotary in NC
The Nebraska City Rotary Club is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025. Special anniversary activities included a birthday cake-themed float in the Arbor Day Parade and an anniversary banquet that featured a special presentation by Rotary District 5650 Governor Tom Kerfoot and the recognition of long-time member Dave Messing as the Rotarian of the Year.
Vasser continues to impress at state, national events
Nebraska City High School wrestler Makayla Vasser continued her busy off season of wrestling through the month of April and into the month of May bringing her event total to eight since the conclusion of the Nebraska high school season, three state events and five national events.
