NC Community Foundation Fund gives to Crime Stoppers
The Nebraska City Community Foundation Fund presented a $5,000 grant to NC Crime Stoppers to help support the work they do to keep neighborhoods safe, encourage community involvement, and ensure local law enforcement has the tools they need.

Members of the Otoe County Democrats staged a peaceful protest in front of the Otoe County Courthouse from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, June 27, to protest planned cuts in Medicare funding and to demonstrate support for rural healthcare overall. The group plans another protest in the same location tomorrow (Saturday, July 5) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
