After a first round win over Humboldt-TRS in the first round of the Pioneer Conference tournament, the Lourdes girls’ basketball team narrowly missed making a trip to the tournament finals as the Knights lost an overtime game against the eventual tournament champions, Falls City Sacred Heart.The Sacred Heart Irish edged Lourdes 44-41 in overtime, and then went on to beat Johnson-Brock, 67-60, in the tournament final.
Lourdes established a 12-point lead after one quarter and went on for a 58-41 win over Lewiston in opening round action of the Pioneer Conference tournament.Trevor Tesarek posted 18 points on the game and had five three-point shots.
