Selfie stop to be added to Sunken Parking Lot

A blank downtown wall will soon be transformed into Nebraska City’s latest mural and a selfie stop for visitors and residents.The east wall of the public restrooms near the Sunken Parking Lot in the 700 block of Central Avenue will soon feature a fresh coat of white paint and a large red-and-white Nebraska City logo used by Nebraska City Tourism and Commerce in branding and marketing the community.

The Nebraska Department of Education recognized 65 Distinguished World Language Scholars during World Language Week 2024.The World Language Distinguished Scholar Award recognizes Nebraska students for their leadership in language learning, commitment to language study, appreciation for cultural diversity, and communicative competence.
