National Library Week proclaimed in NC

April 7 to 13 has been proclaimed National Library Week in Nebraska City by Mayor Bryan Bequette.In his proclamation, Bequette encouraged all Nebraska City residents to visit the Morton-James Public Library, “a place where we can all belong and discover who we are.”April Library events include Card Club on Thursday, April 11, from 1 to 3 p.m.; Young Adult Trivia Night (for those 16 to 19) on Friday, April 12, from 5 to 7 p.m.; and Tween Trivia Night (for those 11 to 15) on Friday, April 19, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Going Backwards

Just a few days ago I seriously thought of turning on the air conditioner.Fast forward to tonight -I walked over to where my thermostat is and checked to see if the heater is working.
