More than 4,400 students are being recognized for their academic achievements during the spring 2024 semester at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) with inclusion on the chancellor’s and/or dean’s list.The 1,335 students who qualified for the chancellor’s list earned a grade point average of 4.0 for courses taken at UNO during the spring 2024 semester, provided 12 or more quality hours were completed.Local students on the chancellor’s list are:Saleta Randall of Douglas; andAnthony Robinson and Ayva Swift of Nebraska City.The 3,130 students who qualified for the dean’s list earned a GPA of 3.5 or better for courses taken at UNO during the spring 2024 semester, provided 12 or more quality hours were completed.Local students on the dean’s list are: Hunter Pope and Noa Jurgens of Bennet;Caleb Robert Fossenbarger and Rachael Brook of Johnson;Carolina Herrera of Lorton;Ethan Graves, Grace Anne Reckart, Kora Schnitzer, Octavio Lopez, Pedro Flores, and Sofia Fulton of Nebraska City; andBrandon Michael Cavanaugh, Matthew Raven Bennett, Nikki Kimpel, and Teja Farley of Syracuse.

Southeast Community College spring semester dean’s list

Southeast Community College released the names of 2,614 students who earned a spot on the dean’s list for the 2024 spring semester, which ended on May 17.A student must complete at least six semester credit hours in the term with a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 to be recognized on the dean’s list.
