Pioneer golf third at Trailblazer

The Nebraska City girls’ golf team placed third out of seven teams with Eliabeth McNeely scoring an individual sixth place finish with a 108 during action at the Trailblazer Conference meet on the Bay Hills Golf Course at Plattsmouth on Monday, Sept. 29.

Pioneer golf hosts home tourney

The Nebraska City girls’ golf team hosted a home event at Wildwood Golf Course with Lincoln Standing Bear taking first place at 424 and the hometown Pioneers posting fourth with a score of 479. There were nine teams in the field.

Red Cross Blood Drive

Saint Paulinus Catholic Church Hall at 476 Poplar St, Syracuse, NE 68446 will host a Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 11:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Those who donate will be eligible to receive a $10 Amazon Gift Card. Unadilla Community Library receives Little Free Library Grant

Unadilla Community Library is excited to announce that it has received a $250.00 Little Free Library (LFL) Mini-Grant from the Nebraska Library Commission. This funding will support the restocking of our existing Little Free Library with high-quality children’s books. The Little Free Library is located by the town post office.
